Portable Audio Recorders for Filmmakers
For years, the Zoom H4 has been the workhorse audio recorder on my film and video productions. As good as it is, it is an older model, and so I decided to see what the current portable recorders have to offer. Here is my review of three popular recorders from Zoom and Tascam. Aputure 120t Light and Light Dome Softbox
Lights like the Aputure C120t are very interesting because they are usually the key piece of a lighting kit – especially when combined with a softbox. What makes them the workhorses is their versatility – they are portable, give a good amount of light output, but don’t draw a lot of power (when using LEDs). Continue reading Aputure 120t Light and Light Dome Softbox
