Drones
For the longest time aerial shots were reserved for big-budget productions. Now, amazing aerial videography is within reach of most indie filmmakers. It’s been so exciting to see the development of drone and gimbal technology.
My go-to drones have always been from DJI – this company has been the pioneer in small (non-military) drones. If you are just getting into aerial videography and want something small, easy to fly, but also something that captures nice 4K video, then I would get the DJI Mavic Pro

If you want even better 4K aerial video, then I recommend the DJI Phantom 4 Pro+

I had a chance to use the eariler version of the DJI Phantom 4, and here are the kind of shots I got with it
For the ultimate quality and control, you will need to reach deep in your pockets and go for the DJI Inspire 2
