My vlogging camera setup is simple, small and affordable. I recently replaced the mic on my rig with the new compact directional mic from Sennheiser.

Even though I am not a vlogger I do like to capture my life for personal home videos. For that purpose I carry a small camera that can still produce great quality 4K video with reliable auto focus and that also allows me to change the lenses. Most of the time I use the kit 16 to 50mm lens because it is small and light. Sometimes when I want a really fast lens for low-light filming I use some of my nicer Sigma lenses that I reviewed before HERE. Same if I ever need different focal lengths. That’s where having a small camera with interchange lens mount is a must for good looking vlog videos.
