It’s that time of the year when I look at the different gimbals available right now. There are obviously a lot of different gimbals in 2019 to choose from so I decided to concentrate on just the small and light gimbals that can still handle mirror-less cameras.
The gimbals I will be comparing in this post are the DJI Ronin-SC which I already reviewed before here. The next one is the Moza AirCross 2 and finally the fun little Zhiyun-Tech CRANE-M2. Check out the video below to see how they all perform.

So what are my conclusions after working with all of these gimbals. Personally for home video or when traveling and doing vlogs the best gimbals is the Zhiyun-Tech CRANE-M2. It’s small, it’s simple to operate plus it works amazingly well with phones. Since now many phones have amazing cameras that meant that instead of having to carry a camera and a bigger gimbal I just had to take a small gimbal that can fit in my pocket and the phone I obviously already carry with me.
Now for more pro work I think the DJI Ronin-SC or Moza AirCross 2 are better options simply because they can carry more weight. Which means that although the Zhiyun-Tech CRANE-M2 can fly a mirrorless camera it obviously can’t carry every type of lens out there. The other two gimbals will pretty much support most mirrorless lenses that are available. Is there a favorite between the Ronin and the AirCross? I would say the AirCross 2 has a slight advantage over the DJI Ronin-SC but there isn’t much of a difference between the two. So let me know which gimbal you prefer and why in the comments below. Thanks!
