Atlas Camera Support

I have some great news for those of you who struggle with shoulder rigs, not sure how to make them lighter and easier to work with. All you need is the inexpensive Atlas Camera Support.

Ever since I’ve tried it out, I’m addicted. It’s super easy to use and makes a huge difference in the quality of shots. Just as importantly, it makes the work more comfortable. You’ll especially appreciate it if you are a run-and-gun type of a filmmaker, wedding videographer, or documentary cameraman.

This device was invented by a cameraman who himself bore the pain of big camera rigs, and finally decided to create an affordable solution.

Please check out my video below for more details.

  1. I’ve got a gimbal on the way for use with my GH4. What are the pros and cons with using the Atlas with it? I’d THINK it’s a no-brainer, but want to make sure there’s nothing too strange. For example, if you need to run with this, do you get any additional or different bounce or side to side motion?
