New DZOFilm PAVO 2x Anamorphic Lenses

DZOFilm’s PAVO 2x Anamorphic line has added new focal lengths to further expand your filmmaking capabilities with vintage cine qualities.

Included in this release are 65mm135mm, and 180mm focal lengths in both blue and neutral coatings. The lenses feature native PL mounts with the inclusion of an EF bayonet to adapt to a wider array of cameras.

Like other lenses in the PAVO series, the new releases feature a 2x anamorphic effect to achieve a 2.39:1 aspect ratio. The entire series also features 16-blade apertures for an oval-shaped bokeh that is characteristic of anamorphic images. Their advanced optical design ensures your footage remains free of chromatic aberration and distortion for natural color reproduction.

The 65mm lens is designed for macro shooting thanks to its 14.4″ close focus distance. Capture fine details of your subject matter without sacrificing accuracy for dramatic close-ups. Two telephoto lens lengths—135mm and 180mm—boast a shallow depth of field to help isolate your subjects from the background of your image.

Each new focal length is available in the same blue and neutral lens coating options as previous lenses in the series. These create elegant horizontal flares in your images that are evenly layered, even under strong lighting conditions. The PAVO series is designed to remain lightweight and compact for compatibility with gimbals, Steadicams, and drones for both handheld and stabilized applications.
