Let me show you how I replaced the background in a shot from my latest film “Shark Bait”.

In my previous post I showed how difficult it was to shoot this film. You can read about that and see the behind the scenes videos HERE.

Now let me show you how I have to fix in post the mistakes that happened during the filming. This scene is supposed to be out in the middle of the ocean but unfortunately in this shot we can see the shore behind the boat. Fortunately now we can easily remove and replace the backgrounds from any video using the amazing Davinci Resolve artificial intelligence tools like Magic Mask. You can do this even if the shot is moving and shaky like is the case in my film.

The whole post production of my film, including the video editing, sound and visual effects is done inside Davinci Resolve Studio.
