Aputure VS-3 Monitor

Aputure VS-3 Monitor Review

Back in March I reviewed the Aputure’s 7-inch field monitor VS-2. I really liked that model and had been using it a lot. Well, now I have a new favourite monitor – the Aputure VS-3.

The VS-3 is more expensive (it currently retails around $380), but offers some great advantages. Unlike the VS-2, it comes with the HDMI Out plug, which allows you to loop the video signal. It also has extra functionality in its software. The two features that I find the most useful are the False Color and the Volume Bar (i.e. audio meter).
